Seattle is a great place to go and visit in the US with plenty of attractions to keep you well occupied. There are literally hundreds of options to choose from and whatever the vacation packages may include, try and make sure you have some space to do some of these things when you are looking for a Seattle vacation package.
You will need to make hotel reservations in Seattle, especially if you are staying for more than a day. A hotel situated downtown would be a good choice as everything you would want will just be a walking distance away. If you don’t want to spend too much then the Quality Inn and Suites Seattle Center or the Holiday Inn close to the Seattle Center are good value for options. They are clean hotels and gives to a lot for what you pay. The Edgewater Hotel on Elliot Bay and the Grand Hyatt across the Washington Convention Center are more expensive and elegant options.
Going out to eat is perhaps one of the most fun things people can do while on a vacation. Experiencing good food completely different to the food you are use to at home makes a trip worth it. If you want to try out some fondue then you should head for The Melting Pot on Mercer Street which is amazing it make be a bit expensive but along with drinks and a four course meal consisting of cheese fondue, salad, a main course of meat and seafood, and dessert, it is well worth it. There are loads of other choices like Ivar’s, Dick’s, McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant, and Red Mill Burger.
Seattle is not short of places to visit. The Seattle Center houses the famous Space Needle and an amusement park. You can try the amphibious “Ride the Ducks” to Lake Union. A visit to the Pike Place Market is a must. Anything you can imagine is available here. There are two stadiums and you can catch a game. If you like it loud visit a Seahawks game, otherwise you can see the Mariner’s game. There is the Seattle Aquarium with is a huge tank filled with fish, and you get to get in the dome. You can also visit the Woodland Park Zoo or go to the Museum of Flight.
Seattle is a place worth trying out. It is not just a modern city; it has its attractions for everyone. After you are through with sightseeing, you can maybe take the Argosy Cruises. You may even catch a glimpse of a whale.
